Indian-origin scientist Joyeeta Gupta awarded ‘Dutch Nobel Prize’

Indian-origin scientist Joyeeta Gupta has been awarded the prestigious Spinoza Prize, known as the 'Dutch Nobel Prize,' for her groundbreaking scientific work promoting a fair and sustainable world. The University of Amsterdam announced that Gupta would receive 1.5 million euros for research and knowledge utilisation. The award ceremony is scheduled for October 4.
