Indians are the largest foreign-born group in England, Wales: Data

Nearly one-sixth of the people living in England and Wales in 2021 were born outside the country, according to the census data. Indians constituted the largest group of people born outside England and Wales at 1.5%, followed by Poland (1.2%) and Pakistan (1%). In the UK, London was the region with the largest proportion of people born outside the country.
