Indians continue paying lowest cooking gas prices, list shows rates in other countries

Indian households are continuing to pay the lowest prices for cooking gas among neighbouring countries, and far lower than prices in advanced economies. The 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder now costs ₹942 in Delhi, while it costs ₹1,046 in Pakistan, ₹1,207 in Nepal, ₹1,225 in Bangladesh and ₹1,241 in Sri Lanka. In US, the cylinder costs ₹1,755 and ₹2,411 in Canada.
