Indians lost ₹2,000 cr to digital arrest scam this year: Kamath

Zerodha's Nithin Kamath warned against digital arrest fraud and said Indians have lost over ₹2,000 crore to this scam this year. The digital arrest fraud, wherein scammers impersonating police officials call people, "work by creating fear", Kamath said. "Never react in a hurry when you get such calls...Speak to someone knowledgeable...or just walk into the nearest police station," he added.
