India's 17-yr-old Gukesh D becomes youngest player in chess history to cross 2,750 rating

India's 17-year-old Grandmaster Gukesh D has become the youngest player in chess history to cross 2,750 rating. Gukesh is currently the 11th top player in FIDE rankings with a rating of 2,751. Gukesh crossed 2,750 rating at the age of 17.17, as per Chess.com. He broke the previous record held by Magnus Carlsen, who crossed 2,750 rating aged 17.34 years.
