India's 1st Centre of Excellence for online gaming to be set up in Shillong

Minister of State for IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Friday said India's first Centre of Excellence for online gaming will be set up in Shillong. It's expected to catalyse startups and entrepreneurs from the entire northeast region to build the next-generation online gaming ecosystem, he said. The government will also set up a facility to provide digital skills training in Shillong.
