Ministry of Railways has said that India's first vertical lift railway sea bridge, the Pamban bridge, is 92% complete, calling it a "stunning engineering feat". "With 92% of the construction completed, the iconic new Pamban railway sea bridge will soon connect Rameswaram Island to the mainland," the ministry said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
