India's COVID-19 recoveries cross 37 lakh, death toll surpasses 78,000

India's total coronavirus recoveries have reached 37,02,595 after 78,399 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours. The total cases have increased to 47,54,356 after a single-day spike of 94,372 cases. While COVID-19 death toll in the country has surged to 78,586, active cases stand at 9,73,175. A total of 10,71,702 tests were conducted on September 12.
