India's crude oil production falls 3.2% in July, gas output rises 18%

India's crude oil production fell by 3.2% year-on-year to 2.5 million tonnes in July, government data showed on Tuesday. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), the country's largest oil and gas producer, produced 1.6 million tonnes of crude in July, 4.2% lower than last year. However, the country's natural gas production rose 18.36% year-on-year to 2.9 billion cubic metres.
