India's exports up nearly 50% to $32.46 billion in June

India's exports increased by 47.34% year-on-year (YoY) to $32.46 billion in June 2021, as per data released by the Commerce Ministry on Friday. The rise is due to healthy growth in sectors like gems and jewellery, engineering and petroleum products. India's trade deficit in June this year was $9.4 billion and exports in the year-ago period stood at $22 billion.
