India's forex reserves rise by $3 bn to lifetime high of $608.08 bn

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by $3.07 billion to reach a record high of $608.08 billion in the week ended June 11, according to data released by the RBI. Foreign currency assets, a major component of the overall reserves, rose by $2.56 billion to $563.45 billion. Gold reserves rose by $496 million to $38.1 billion during the period.
