India's GDP grows by 8.4% in Q2 of FY22 against record 20.1% growth in last quarter

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on Tuesday said that the country's GDP grew by 8.4% during the second quarter (July-September) of 2021-22 compared to 7.4% contraction in the second quarter of 2020-21. India had posted a growth of record 20.1% in the first quarter (April-June) of 2021-22.
