India's highest and lowest total in Test cricket history both came on December 19

India today registered their lowest-ever total in Test cricket after managing to score just 36/9 in the second innings of the first Test against Australia in Adelaide. Notably, India had recorded their highest-ever Test total on December 19 four years ago after declaring their first innings against England at 759/7 in the fifth Test in Chennai.
