India's highest telescope takes pic of comet last seen 50,000 years ago

The Himalayan Chandra Telescope, India's highest telescope in Ladakh located at an altitude of 4,500 metres, took a picture of a comet that will be visible from Earth for the first time in 50,000 years. Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) will pass closest to Sun on January 12 and may be visible to the naked eye by early February.
