India's Iran oil imports fall 41% in Dec post US sanctions: Report

India's oil imports from Iran fell by 41% in December to 302,000 barrels per day (bpd) after US sanctions took effect, according to Reuters. The US granted a six-month waiver to India, allowing it to import around 300,000 bpd. Iran was reportedly the sixth biggest oil supplier to India in December compared to third position it held a year ago.
