India's job problem growing over past few decades: Raghuram Rajan

Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan said the problem of lack of jobs in India "wasn't created in the last 10 years" but has been "growing over the last few decades". Many job-intensive areas like leather aren't doing well while billions are going into chipmaking, he stated. The government needs to figure out what's going wrong in job-intensive areas, he added.
