India's new warship 'Mahendragiri' to be launched on September 1

India's latest warship, Mahendragiri, will be launched by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's wife Sudesh Dhankhar in Mumbai on September 1. "It's a technologically advanced warship and stands as a symbol of India's determination to embrace its rich naval heritage," a government statement said. The warship is named after a mountain peak in Eastern Ghats located in Odisha.
