India's only para-climber has won 11 medals with no funding

Manikandan Kumar, India's only para-climber, who has won a total of eleven medals at the international level, has reportedly never received financial support from the government or corporate sources. The 29-year-old climber, who is yet to be considered eligible for the Ekalavya award, had polio at the age of five leaving his right leg weaker than his left.
