India's smartphone market shipment grew 17% year-on-year in the third quarter with record shipments of 54.3 million units, IDC reported. It also reported that China's smartphone market shipment dropped by 14.3%. Xiaomi emerged as the market leader with 25% share of September quarter shipment followed by Samsung with a 22.3% share.
