IndiGo buys ₹10-crore stake in air-taxi startup Sarla Aviation

IndiGo has acquired an equity stake worth ₹10 crore in Bengaluru-based air-taxi startup Sarla Aviation through an investment made using IndiGo Ventures in January, ET reported citing filings. The startup is developing an electrical vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with a seating capacity of up to six passengers. This marks IndiGo's second attempt to enter the air mobility segment.
