IndiGo flyers get ₹164 crore compensation for flight cancellations

Passengers affected by mass cancellation of flights by IndiGo in December were issued ₹163.92 crore in travel coupons as compensation, Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said. He added government is taking necessary measures to prevent similar incidents in future. Naidu stated 3,64,000 customers were affected by cancellations and ₹43.81 crore was disbursed as compensation after validation.
