IndiGo plane flies in circles for 30 minutes before being diverted from Mumbai amid heavy rains

A Delhi-Mumbai IndiGo flight made 10 loops near Mumbai as heavy rains disrupted airport operations in the city. The plane made one loop near Nashik and another near Kalyan before making eight consecutive loops near Malegaon and being diverted to Hyderabad. The plane made loops, a holding pattern flights undertake during bad weather or airport congestion, for over 30 minutes.
