IndiGo replaces head of operations following govt directive

IndiGo has removed Jason Herter as Senior Vice President of Operations Control Centre (OCC) and appointed Captain Rohit Rikhye as the new chief. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation had in its report on the IndiGo operations disruption crisis that took place in December directed removing Herter from the position. Rikhye currently leads pilot standards and safety at IndiGo.
