IndiGo reports ₹238 crore Q1 loss despite 20% revenue growth

IndiGo reported a Q1 FY27 net loss of ₹238 crore despite a 19.94% YoY increase in revenue from operations to ₹24,584.10 crore. Higher fuel costs, adverse foreign exchange movements and Middle East disruptions impacted profitability. Fuel costs surged 85.7% YoY to ₹10,832.90 crore, while passenger traffic reached 31.3 million during the quarter.
