Indo-Canadian politician suspended by party over post on Nijjar

An Indo-Canadian politician running in the Ontario elections has been suspended by Liberal Party after his old contentious post on social media resurfaced. The man, Viresh Bansal, who was contesting from the riding (constituency) of Oshawa, had posted about the killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, and also made a homophobic slur against Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.
