Indo-Russian JV company makes 1st Vande Bharat sleeper coach

Kinet Railway Solutions, an Indo-Russian joint venture between Russia's TMH and India's RVNL, has completed the first fully integrated car body for Vande Bharat Sleeper trains at its Latur facility. The project targets manufacturing 1,920 coaches across 120 trainsets for Indian Railways, with the prototype rollout planned by June 2026. RVNL CMD confirms steady progress on this flagship initiative.
