Indonesia burns marijuana plantation discovered by drones

Indonesian authorities on Wednesday set ablaze a marijuana plantation that was discovered by drones in the northern province of Aceh. A joint team of the National Narcotics Agency and the National Research and Innovation Agency detected 4.5 hectares of land with an estimated 21,100 cannabis plants ready for harvest. Consumption of marijuana is prohibited in Indonesia, even for medical purposes.
