Indonesia buys 12 Mirage fighter jets used by Qatar for $792 mn

Indonesia's Defence Ministry confirmed that it has bought 12 Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets used by Qatar for €733 million ($792 million) to upgrade its Air Force's fleet quickly. The confirmation comes after several Indonesian lawmakers criticised the deal. "What is so urgent that we had to buy used and old jets?"
