Indonesia to acquire India's BrahMos missile system

Ministry of Defence of Indonesia confirmed on March 9, 2026, that it had concluded an agreement with India to procure the BrahMos missile system, valued at approximately $200–350 million. The package includes a single coastal defence battery comprising launchers, radars and missiles. The deal positions Indonesia as the third ASEAN member to acquire BrahMos after the Philippines and Vietnam.
