Indonesian Air Force jets escort PM Modi's plane as a mark of honour

PM Narendra Modi's Air India 1 plane was escorted by fighter jets from the Indonesian Air Force as it entered Indonesian airspace. This marks PM Modi's fourth visit to Indonesia and his first bilateral visit since the elevation of India-Indonesia ties to the level of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2018. PM Modi will next head to Australia and New Zealand.
