Indonesia's Mount Ruang erupted twice early Tuesday, prompting the evacuation of up to 12,000 people amid tsunami fears. A 7-km exclusion zone was established, and authorities, concerned about volcanic debris triggering a tsunami, dispatched rescue ships. The eruption also forced the closure of Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado.
