Indus Waters Treaty to remain suspended: Jaishankar after Pak pleads for reconsideration

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday reiterated that the Indus Waters Treaty will remain suspended until the cross-border terrorism by Pakistan is credibly and irrevocably stopped. This comes a day after Pakistan reportedly wrote a letter to India, pleading the country to reconsider the decision to put the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance.
