IndusInd Bank's MD, CEO Romesh Sobti retires; Sumant Kathpalia to take over

IndusInd Bank's long-term MD and CEO Romesh Sobti has retired from his position and is being replaced by Sumant Kathpalia with effect from March 24, 2020, the bank announced. Sobti, who took over the position in 2008, will retire as he turns 70. Kathpalia has over 33 years of experience and has worked with Citibank and Bank of America.
