Industrialists are pressuring us: Minister Lad on Karnataka's 14-hour workday Bill

Karnataka Labour Minister Santosh Lad said the proposed Bill on increasing IT employees' work duration to 14 hours has been brought as "industrialists are pressuring" the government. He said the Bill is being evaluated by the Labour Department, adding, "I want all the heads of industries to discuss this." Karnataka State IT/ITeS Employees Union called the Bill "inhuman".
