'Infected' hyena attacks 2 in Pune, animal found dead later

A hyena attacked two people in Pune's Khed tehsil on Monday and was later found dead, according to forest officials. "The hyena...was suffering from some infection. It may have attacked people out of irritation due to the infection," Deputy Conservator of Forests (Junnar division) Jayaramegowda R said. A video of the hyena attacking an elderly man also surfaced online.
