Inflation to slow down in the next two years: IMF

Inflation is likely to slow down in the next two years, said the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in its latest world outlook report. "Global inflation is expected to fall from 8.8% in 2022 to 6.6% in 2023 and 4.3% in 2024," the report read. IMF Chief Economist Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas clarified "we're well away from any sort of global recession marker".
