Infosys, Wipro shares plunge to 6-year lows in intraday trading

Shares of Infosys and Wipro reportedly hit six-year lows intraday on Tuesday amid a broad sell-off in IT stocks. Infosys hit an intraday low of ₹980.40 before recovering to close at ₹1,015.40. Wipro slumped nearly 3% to a fresh low of ₹156.79. Overall, Nifty IT fell by nearly 1.5%, with Infosys being the only constituent to finish in the green.
