Infosys fined ₹2.62 lakh in US' Texas for not paying sales tax

Infosys has been fined $3,142.02 (around ₹2.62 lakh) by authorities in Texas, US for allegedly not paying sales tax in April 2024. Informing exchanges about the fine in a filing on Saturday, the IT giant said the move has "no material impact on financials, operations or other activities of the company".
