Infosys shareholders gain ₹51,000 crore in 1 hour as shares hit record

Infosys investors added more than ₹51,000 crore to their wealth in the first hour of trade on Thursday after the company posted better-than-expected first quarter profit. The shares of India's second-largest IT services company surged as much as 14.5% to a record high. Infosys profit climbed 11% to ₹4,233 crore from ₹3,798 crore a year earlier.
