Injecting young human blood found to reverse ageing in mice
Injecting blood from young people into old mice reverses signs of ageing, according to a recent study by California-based anti-ageing company Alkahest. Blood plasma from 18-year-old humans was injected twice weekly into 12-month-old mice, that are equivalent to 50-year-old humans. The ageing mice were found to perform better on memory tests and also showed increased physical activity.
