Injured Firouzja plays chess tournament while lying on hotel bed

Iran-born French Grandmaster Alireza Firouzja, who suffered an ankle injury during the Bucharest leg of the Grand Chess Tour, played his fifth-round match against Uzbek Grandmaster Javokhir Sindarov while lying on a bed in a hotel room. The 22-year-old's picture in red shorts and a black T-shirt went viral online. Firouzja will continue playing the tournament from the room.
