Inmates given non-veg food, sweets on demand: Authorities to Bombay HC

Maharashtra jail authorities have informed the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court (HC) that inmates in prisons across the state are being given non-vegetarian food and sweets on demand. The court was hearing a plea filed by an inmate over the quality of food in prisons. He had sought directions to jail authorities to provide quality food to prisoners.
