Scientists from BITS Pilani and Sorbonne University created a novel catalyst of nickel and cobalt oxide to efficiently convert CO2 into methane. By inducing oxygen vacancies and enhancing the catalyst with nickel, they achieved a 58% conversion rate, paving the way for potential climate change mitigation.
