Instacart names former Facebook ads chief Everson as its President

Grocery delivery startup Instacart has named Carolyn Everson, Facebook's former ads chief, as its President. The 49-year-old will join Instacart on September 7 after spending more than a decade at Facebook. Everson served as Vice President of Global Business Group at Facebook in her last role. Instacart named Fidji Simo, the former head of Facebook's app, as CEO in July.
