Instagram celeb 'Hushpuppi' helped North Korean hackers launder stolen money: US

The US Justice Department has stated that Nigerian social media celebrity 'Hushpuppi', who has around 2.5 million followers on Instagram, helped three North Korean hackers launder money stolen from a Maltese bank. The North Korean computer programmers are accused of extorting more than $1.3 billion of cash and cryptocurrency. Hushpuppi is currently in US custody, awaiting trial.
