Instagram CEO says some users are never shown ads on the app

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri during an 'Ask Me Anything' session said that some Instagram users do not see any kind of advertisements on the app. He said this after a user asked, "I don't see any ads on my Instagram. Not a single ad. Is this normal?" Mosseri further explained that Instagram does this to "understand the effect of that."
