Instagram suffers brief outage, Meta says 'technical issue'

Meta Platforms-owned Instagram suffered an outage on Sunday, affecting thousands of users in Canada, US and Britain, outage tracking website Downdetector reported. More than 1,80,000 users of the photo-sharing app reported issues at the peak of the outage. "A technical issue caused some people to have trouble accessing Instagram. We resolved the issue as quickly as possible," a Meta spokesperson.
