Instagram to ask suspicious accounts to verify their identities

Instagram has announced that it will now ask some users to verify their identities if it suspects "potential inauthentic behaviour". This would not affect all the users but would apply only to a few, Instagram said. If an account refuses to verify their identity, their content could receive reduced distribution or it could get disabled.
