Int'l Energy Agency congratulates India after fast breeder reactor attains criticality

International Energy Agency congratulated India after Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam attained criticality. "Congratulations to India, to PM Modi, and to scientists & engineers on this important technological achievement after many years of development," IEA said. "This reactor will use much less nuclear fuel than other reactors and lay a pathway towards a closed fuel cycle," it added.
