Intel hires Qualcomm exec to lead PC and physical AI business

Intel on Monday said it has appointed Alex Katouzian to lead its PC and physical AI unit. "Katouzian will align Intel's client computing business with emerging physical AI systems that span robotics, autonomous machines, and other AI devices," the US chipmaker said. Katouzian joins Intel from Qualcomm, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President.
